About Us

Ashcroft Trailer Hire Ltd was founded in the early 60s and originally traded as a haulage company moving animal feed stuffs. Shortly after purchasing new trailers the owners spent more time lending and eventually hiring these trailers to fellow hauliers and so the idea of hiring on a commercial bases was made. Originally called Ashcroft and Fair Ltd and later it was shortened to A & F Trailer Hire.
In 1983 the name was changed again due to the retirement of one of the partners and the company still uses the Ashcroft Trailer Hire name to this day.
